Notes
The Ale House Open mic is an informal and lively open mic where originals and covers are welcome. Talented & willing musicians are always available if you want someone to jam along with you. Styles often include folk, blues, jazz and much more.
We have a house guitar and PA, three vocal mics and 6 inputs so we can accommodate pretty much anything. We've had drum kits, keyboards and other less common instruments in the past, but contact us before to confirm your instrument can be accommodated. The open mic is held in a busy put so it isn't the sit down quietly and don't talk sort of open mic, expect it to be quiet at the start but begin to build up after 11pm.
We record every act each week, and recordings are available on our Facebook and SoundCloud pages.
